FIRST STEPS TO PITCHING ACADEMY!

The Pitching Academy Initial Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation designed to identify how your body moves, where you generate power, and what may be limiting your velocity, command, or durability on the mound. It is a REQUIREMENT before beginning the Pitching Academy.

The assessment begins with PHASE 1: strength testing, including neutral grip strength, overhead grip strength, and shoulder ER/IR strength, to establish a baseline of upper-body force production and arm health.

Athletes then complete PHASE 2: a comprehensive movement screening, which includes a full mobility evaluation of the shoulders, hips, spine, wrists, elbows, and ankles, while also assessing posture, stability, balance, and overall movement quality.

The assessment concludes with a video analysis of the pitching delivery to identify mechanical inefficiencies and connect physical limitations to performance on the mound.
Using this data, there will be an individualized training plan focused on improving velocity, command, movement efficiency, arm health, and long-term durability. Every athlete leaves with measurable data, actionable feedback, and a clear roadmap for development throughout the Pitching Academy.

The assessment in its entirety is $149 and is scheduled in 2 phases. When purchasing you will book Phase 1 and at the conclusion of the first phase, Phase 2 will be booked through a staff member.

12 Month Pitching Academy Membership!

  • Participants may enroll at any time.
  • Pitching Academy includes up to 3 sessions per week.
  • Sessions are 1 hour in length and offered multiple days/times per week.
  • Session reservations become available 30 days in advance, and clients must register to secure their spot.
  • Unused sessions do not carry over from week to week or month to month.
  • Unattended sessions count towards the weekly cap.
    Contracts cannot be cancelled.
  • Sessions are held at Complete Game - 10050 Pennsylvania Ave, Manassas VA

Pricing is per month with payments running on the first day of the month of contract.

Phase 2 Pitching Evaluations, as  part of the initial assessment, will begin at 8pm. They will end promptly at 9pm during the week.

*There will be no Pitching Academy on October 31, November 26, November 27, December 24, December 25, December 31, and January 1st.

6 Months Pitching Academy Membership

Please email info@colangelobaseball.com to set up an evaluation time with staff as there are limited spots remaining of this academy.

 

PITCHERS AGES 14+ can attend up to 3 sessions a week for 6 consecutive months. Sessions are 1 hr long, are easy to book; slots are at a first come/first serve basis and you must be signed up for a class to attend. Scheduling opens up 30 days from current date to allow for planning. Please sign up ahead of time because sessions do fill up. There will be no partial month credit or refunds for unused sessions. Sessions do not carry over from month to month. If you are a previous Pitching Academy attendee, please use your previous login credentials when purchasing through MindBody.
