Infield Academy
The Colangelo Baseball Infield Academy is a high-level defensive training program designed to develop complete infielders through focused instruction, advanced drills, and game-ready preparation. Led by Coach Yareb Martinez, players will build elite defensive fundamentals while improving confidence, athleticism, and baseball IQ in a competitive training environment.
Throughout the academy, athletes will receive hands-on coaching in:
- Fielding mechanics and footwork
- Proper throwing techniques
- Advanced glove work and ball transfers
- Tagging techniques and defensive coverage
- Anticipation, reaction time, and situational awareness
- Conditioning, agility, and overall athletic performance
The academy is structured to help players sharpen their defensive skills through repetition, detail-oriented instruction, and position-specific development. Whether athletes are looking to strengthen fundamentals or elevate their performance to the next level, the Infield Academy provides the tools and coaching necessary to succeed on the field.

Session 1 – Youth (Ages 9–12)
Dates: 6/18, 6/25, 7/7, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30

Session 2 – Advanced (Ages 13+)
Dates: 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9
